First thing, the brand for this ammo is actually RWS, I don’t have any other stats for it and I don’t think they make this exact ammo any longer. However, RWS does have similar ammo to this on their website and I linked the box above to that version of the ammo.
This ammo is by far one of the best 22 LR ammos I have shot to date (3/22/24). Technically it is just the run of the mill German Ammo. It’s not even their competition ammo, which costs a lot more. This version of the ammo is about $7.99 per 50 bullets. Not too bad for an ammo that 40 out of 50 shots all went into the 9 ring or bullseye. I mean wow, only 10 bullets outside of the 9 ring. That is just amazing for what they consider a practice ammo from what I can tell.
These RWS lead round nose bullets are flying at 935fps and 78ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle. This is measured using a 5.1” barrel so this is the accurate speed and energy for a pistol. Most ammo lists the speed and energy of the rifle when it comes to 22LR but this one lists it for a pistol. Very nice for us pistol shooters.
My groupings with this ammo were very good, with flyers they were 2.75” wide by 1.625” high. Taking out the flyers the groupings were 1.5” wide by 1.375” high. In total there were 9 flyers making the precision of these bullets 84%, with every 5th one being off. All in all, that is very good.
I really felt like I hit more bullseyes with this ammo than any other ammo as well, so if you are looking for accuracy out of your ammo this ammo really has it, and it has it consistently.
