Do Yourself A Favor and Watch
At 50ft with 50 Rounds I was able to achieve a grouping with flyers that was 3.25 inches wide by 2.75 inches tall. If you don't count the flyers the groupings are considerably better at 1.75 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall.
Again these are the Remington 22 Thunderbolt. They are a 40 grain bullet with a muzzle velocity of 1255 fps producing 140 ft/lbs of energy. When you go out to 100 yards with these bullets are still going at 1017 fps which is subsonic at that point and have 92 ft/lbs of energy. The drop at 100 yards when sighted at 50 yards is -5.6 inches.
Honestly I felt this bullet was pretty good for the price. They are a bit inconsistent so I would not use them in competition, but for a decent practice round or small game round these would be just fine. If the standards on these bullets were just a bit tighter though Remington would have one heck of a good bullet without so many flyers.
The consistency of these bullets are at about 60%. So every seventh round will be off and this is why I do not trust the 5 shot system of determining if a bullet is good or not. A grouping based on 5 rounds, or even 10 rounds, to me is not enough information. BallistiXPro will do our best to provide you the most accurate and detailed information anywhere possible.
