The first thing people will ask I would think, is it clean? Yes, the CCI Clean-22 is far cleaner than any other lead bullet I have ever shot as far as 22LR goes. This is an awesome step in the right direction for fans of the 22-caliber long rifle bullet.

The first thing I noticed on these was the shape, the tip of these has a very nice and aggressive looking shape compared with other round nose bullet I think. It is also what probably gave it a bit of an edge on its accuracy as well.

The second thing I noticed was the kick, the kick for a high velocity ammo was very mild. It felt more like a standard velocity ammo. This allows you to get back on target a little quicker vs other high velocity ammo. Another bonus for this ammo. 

My groupings with these including flyers were about average, one of the farthest I believe was my fault. However, the grouping was 1.6 inches left to right and 1.5 inches top to bottom. Taking out the flyers the grouping was 1.3 inches left to right and 0.967 inches top to bottom. I had 6 flyers in total, one of those I am counting as my fault. Flyers would then occur about 1 out of every 10, more precisely 1.2 out of 10 as 88% of the bullets flew perfectly straight.

All in all, I felt this is one of the most bang for your buck bullets I have found to date in the 22LR category. Especially with the low amount of lead dust they produce. No lead dust on your fingers when loading, and very little on the inside of your gun when firing. Very nice especially in the 22-caliber long rifle category as most of these bullets are rather dirty by comparison.

My recommendation is yes and yes. Give these a try, I assure you, you will like them.
