Information about this ammo from manufacturer’s site:
Bullet weight: 40 grains
Bullet Style: Copper-Plated Solid Point
Velocity: 1255fps at Muzzle, 1036fps at 100 yards
Energy: 140 ft-lb at muzzle, 95 ft-lb at 100 yards
Aguila - High Velocity Ammo is flying at 1255fps at the muzzle with 140ft/lbs of energy. The bullet at 100 yards is still flying at 1036fps and has 95ft/lbs of energy. Not to bad for a low cost ammo, especially when it has a pretty good accuracy and is precision built at about 82%, which means about every 5th bullet is going to be a bit off from the standard specifications.
I fired these rounds at a target that was 50ft away or 16.67 yards. My groupings were as follows, 2 1/4" wide by 3" high, if you take out the flyers which we had 8 maybe 9, depending on if the crazy bullet was me or not, the groupings were 1 1/2" wide by 1 1/2 high. So this is actually pretty good if you ask me.
A bonus about this ammo is that it is a copper-plated bullet, so you don't get all of the lead on your fingers when loading your clips, and you do not get the lead dust shooting out of the barrel when firing the gun. This also makes the inside of your gun a lot less dirty as well.
This is definitely one of the better values out there as far as cost vs accuracy goes. It does not get much better than this.
